Description

The IT Support Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems within the organisation. The incumbent will be responsible for providing front-line technical assistance and support to end-users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring that all computer systems, hardware, and software function efficiently. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology. The IT Support Agent will provide both remote and in-person support to internal and external clients, contributing to effective IT service delivery and operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support through phone, email, or in-person channels
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and prompt service to all clients and staff
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users
  • Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to resolve complex issues
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases, FAQs, and technical documentation

Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ / N+ or equivalent technical certification
  • Microsoft Certification (MCP / MCSA / MCSE) advantageous
